Tournament Rules
| 1 | All contestants must have a valid Minnesota fishing license. |
| 2 | All contestants must abide by all Minnesota fishing regulations. |
| 3 | All boats must comply with all Minnesota and local laws and regulations. |
| 4 | Once the tournament has started no boat shall go ashore except at Everett Park or Caven's Landing (exception: severe weather). |
| 5 | No boat shall come into contact with another boat on the water. (exception: emergencies) |
| 6 | No frozen or discolored fish will be allowed. |
| 7 | Contestants must make a decision once a fish is caught whether to reduce it to possession or return it to the water. A fish once reduced to possession may not be released later. |
| 8 | All boats must be made available to inspection by tournament officials at Everett Park prior to starting. |
| 9 | No fishing allowed inside restricted areas. (east side of power plant intake marked by orange buoys) |
| 10 | No boat shall obstruct channels in any way by drift fishing or by anchoring. |
| 11 | In case of a tie, positions shall be resolved by combining the awards and dividing them equally among the tied contestants. |
| 12 | Any team or team member caught breaking any of the rules will immediately disqualify that team. |
| 13 | All boats will start from tournament headquarters. (but may launch at ramp of anglers choice) |
| 14 | All teams must fish from a boat. (No fishing from shore allowed) |
| 15 | All teams must register their catch. |
| 16 | Life jackets must be worn at the start of tournament. |
| 17 | All decisions of the judge or judges is final. |
| 18 | Competitors in F.L.C.L., Inc. tournaments are expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety and conservation. |
